Kevin Rudd spent Saturday morning promoting his tax cuts at Melbourne's Boronia Shopping Centre.
Rudd was recieved warmly in the safe Liberal seat of La Trobe, in Melbourne's south, as hokey-pokeyed with a busker, patted rabbits in a pet shop and bounced a baby in a cafe.
Busker Harry Williams said Rudd has "got the groove".
