John Howard is planning a blitz of key electorates in Queensland today. The Prime Minister left Brisbane early this morning to campaign in Cairns in the seat of Leichardt. Howard was reportedly heckled by a group wearing Your Rights At Work t-shirts who told him his visit to the north was an act of desperation.
Another protestor advised the PM to get used to unemployment, "the same as the workers you sold out!"
There are reports that Mr Howard is on his way to Townsville and the marginal seat of Herbert.
