John Howard has pledged $13 million for a new medical training centre at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Kevin Rudd's seat of Griffith, Queensland.
The centre, to run in conjunction with the University of Queensland, will provide training for up to 60 medical students.
"For the first time, at a private hospital anywhere in Australia, there will be a comprehensive and integrated training school for undergraduate medical and nursing students," he said.
